Today

After my last post, I had really enjoyed the colour combination of the pink and orange as per the Paper Artsy Challenge. The sewn circles by Jane LaFazio reminded me of art I have done with my class in the past, and thought we could extend this this by including some sewing.
I had intended this to be a two page spread in my small home made journal, but in the end the pages became separate and did not really connect with each other.
They are having to be one entry for this challenge though. It's late on Sunday night and I only have time for one blog post!

  1. I am so happy to see more of your work. I often do a double page and then separate them if they don't bond. I love what you have created! X

  2. Looks fab, I love how your pages have a more vintage feel to them as often pink and Orange are so bright. I struggled too with my pages and still feel now that they don't really connect. But neve mind! Claire xx

    1. Thanks Claire. I must admit I feel happier about these looking at them again on the screen. And everyone's lovely comments help too :)

  4. Well done on a beautiful entry to the challenge. I failed I'm afraid having shied away from a colour combo way out of my comfort zone but you have shown it didn't have to be funky bright. Love it! Lesley Xx
