I have just discovered Leandra at PaperArtsy and yes, it was somehow quite relaxing to finally hear a familiar accent! She is in the UK however, which means her products are a little inaccessible to me, due to cost. But I thought I would take part in the monthly challenge, and if I'm lucky, maybe I can win a voucher to purchase what look like some fantastic resources.
So here is my first contribution to 2016 #8 White Space. I had already been thinking about this page and while I was going to follow some other prompts and ideas, I decided to focus on this white space concept and leave the whole thing quite simple - which I'm glad I did.
The piece used images from our family visit to Naoshima, with the focal image being a silhouette of my son standing on top of what was a very high piece of concrete. This is an amazing place to visit if you are ever in Japan as the whole island is full of a variety of art installations including work by Yayoi Kusama.
A really dramatic page. Love it.
